About the Role

The Manager, Talent Attraction & Employer Branding reports to the Director, Talent Attraction and Employer Branding and is responsible for positioning Magna as an employer of choice within the European talent markets by developing strategies that extend the reach of our employer brand and value proposition. This role is highly collaborative, considers diverse perspectives, communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, encourages innovation and applies project management techniques to deliver results for a comprehensive talent attraction and employer branding strategy.

This role is based in Munich, Germany.

Your Responsibilities

  • Help assess, evolve, and maintain the company's employer brand and brand perception
  • Develop and implement talent attraction strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business in partnership with key internal stakeholders
  • Help establish and maintain talent market expertise including a comprehensive view of industry trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent trends
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to develop and implement a sound global digital and social media engagement strategy with supporting creative assets (social, web, CRM)
  • Manage relationships with external vendors including job and recruitment technology platforms
  • Support the talent attraction department with the oversight of key projects, events, and activities (i.e., expansion of a European campus engagement strategy and keystone events like IAA and Formula Student Racing)
  • Assess and provide recommendations/solutions on operational improvement regarding the candidate experience, leveraging data, insights, and technology
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all recruitment marketing efforts; including establishing clear metrics to ensure appropriate ROI is achieved

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or similar
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in talent marketing, recruitment, corporate branding, or digital marketing

Your preferred qualifications

  • Experience using social media outlets for recruitment, such as LinkedIn, Stepstone, Xing, Indeed Glassdoor, Instragram and other regional/burgeoning candidate outreach platforms
  • Familiarity with Workday and CRM platforms preferred
  • Ability to utilize different reporting tools to help inform strategic measurement and ROI (Power B.I., LinkedIn Insights, Talent Neuron, Universum, etc.)
  • Customer service focus, including strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization and with external vendors
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively by paying attention to detail
  • Experience with managing a small team of direct reports
  • Ability to travel as needed (potential for international travel)
