This a unique opportunity to be a part of the Pay.cetera team working closely with us here at Paymenttols and our Rewe Group counterparts. This role is hybrid, partially remote, and partially based out of our Venlo office in the Netherlands.
Pay.cetera is looking for a payments expert to take on responsibility for the regulatory requirements in our product development and onboarding processes, from advisory to regulatory. This role comes with a lot of responsibility and has the potential to make an impact on Pay.cetera's and Paymenttools' success being the regulatory enabler of the payment service provider, Paymenttools.
This role requires a high level of joint responsibility and collaboration with Rewe Group counterparts and in particular with Paymenttools. You will be expected to build and optimize our partnerships with external product partners, our internal teams such as Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and with our clients. You're always focusing on ensuring we have the regulatory requirements right for our products throughout the product development process and product lifecycle.
Your Tasks:
- Drive end-to-end accountability across all Product teams
- Drive end-to-end accountability with Customer Success team including onboarding clients and throughout the client lifecycle
- You will be responsible for ensuring the onboarding of merchants is defined and meets all requirements. This includes taking ownership of KYC requirements and processes and finding the right external partners to support an effective and modern KYC process.
- You listen to merchants, engineers, product owners, and industry partners to find problems that our products can solve uniquely united with Paymenttools and Rewe Group
- In regards to new product processes, you continuously align with colleagues from Paymenttools to understand what new or existing agreements, processes, or documentation is needed from Pay.cetera to launch
- Take ownership of strategy and work with cross-functional teams to drive growth, always aligned with the internal strategy and joint prioritization with your peers
- Serve as a thought leader for relevant regulatory aspects of payment products while driving developments based on merchant feedback and industry developments within the banking and payments domain
Your Experience:
- Proficiency in both German and English, verbally and in writing
- Dutch language skills is a plus, not not required
- Your professional experience is in financial services
- A background in payment services, banking, or e-money institution would be ideal but not required
- Previous experience in a regulated environment is a must
- You are structured and well organized. Whether you come from consulting or Fintech, you are able to convey a message and prioritize your to-dos
- Essential to this role is great problem solving skills
