As a manufacturer and trader of high-quality animal nutrition for all farm animals, the company moreover provides its worldwide customers with support and advice.
To strengthen our Sales team we are currently seeking a
Sales Manager for the regions Austria, Switzerland & Southern Germany (m/f/d)
- Selling selected products to customers and distributors, including planning and realizing the forecast
- Maintaining, expanding and consolidating existing customer relationships
- Systematic development of new customer groups and potential customers
- Achieving sales targets within your own area of responsibility
- Conducting sales and advisory meetings with customers and distributors
- Contact person for technical and commercial questions regarding our product portfolio and general animal nutrition and husbandry topics
- Organization and implementation of regular customer visits
- Documenting the results and reviewing your own measures to achieve sales targets
- Payment monitoring (conditions, internal credit limit, reminders)
- Participation in trade fairs, events, congresses, customer events and specialist lectures, etc.
- A degree in agricultural sciences (specializing in animal nutrition), in veterinary medicine, natural sciences or business administration with further trainings in animal nutrition
- Experience in the compound feed sector and/or in the distribution of feed additives or veterinary products desired, primarily in the DACH region
- Good German and good written and spoken English skills
- Routine in dealing with the common MS Office programs and CRM systems
- High degree of initiative and commitment
- Customer-oriented thinking and acting, ability to work in a team as well as strong communication skills
- Willingness to intensive traveling
