The department Group Reporting, Controlling and Consolidation (RCC) is looking for a (Senior) Controller Group (f/m/d) for the team Group Financial Planning & Analysis Africa-Mediterranean-Western Asia FP&A - AMWA).

The position will be located in Heidelberg, Germany. You will direct report to the position Finance Director AMWA.

  • Take over responsibility for the review, analysis and reporting of the financial performance of specific AMWA countries; ensure reporting is delivered in accordance with Group reporting guidelines, prepared on a consistent basis and submitted within deadline
  • Perform (ad hoc) analysis explaining variances & performances vs. prior year or/and plan; the operational review and the review of the corresponding KPIs is hereby as well focus
  • Prepare and review documents/presentations for the Management Board in collaboration with the Finance Director AMWA
  • Support the countries in CapEx Budgeting and Forecasting and follow the CapEx spent
  • Review the CapEx projects (Autorization of expenditures) for your respective countries
  • Collaborate closely with countries as well as various Group departments

  • Completed university degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
  • Profound working experience in relevant field (controlling, accounting or finance - a minimum of two years)
  • Ideally commercial knowledge in the field of building materials
  • Working experience with Business Intelligence Systems (Tagetik, SAP BW, SAP SEM) is an advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory), further language skills are a plus
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
