CureVac Corporate Services GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of CureVac SE, combines the central functions of the CureVac business group. To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a

Senior IFRS Manager (f/m/d)


  • First point of contact for IFRS accounting topics, including management and Executive Board (Audit Committee)
  • Preparation of the corresponding technical statements (accounting memos)
  • Responsibility for the implementation of new or amended accounting standards
  • Development and updating of accounting guidelines and processes
  • Ensure compliance regarding IFRS accounting
  • Contribute to preparation and audit of the IFRS consolidated financial statements and other forms of financial reports
  • Preparation of IFRS related SOX controls
  • Act as an interface to auditors and other external parties to assure smooth handling of all accounting issues
  • Preparation and conduction of inhouse IFRS trainings

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting / financial reporting; experience with audits is an asset
  • Sound knowledge in IFRS, certification in IFRS is desired
  • Experience in global business environments encompassing international legal entities is a plus
  • High ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive financial information
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills with a strong hands-on approach
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation in a dynamic environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Fluency in German and English
