To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a
Senior IFRS Manager (f/m/d)
- First point of contact for IFRS accounting topics, including management and Executive Board (Audit Committee)
- Preparation of the corresponding technical statements (accounting memos)
- Responsibility for the implementation of new or amended accounting standards
- Development and updating of accounting guidelines and processes
- Ensure compliance regarding IFRS accounting
- Contribute to preparation and audit of the IFRS consolidated financial statements and other forms of financial reports
- Preparation of IFRS related SOX controls
- Act as an interface to auditors and other external parties to assure smooth handling of all accounting issues
- Preparation and conduction of inhouse IFRS trainings
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting / financial reporting; experience with audits is an asset
- Sound knowledge in IFRS, certification in IFRS is desired
- Experience in global business environments encompassing international legal entities is a plus
- High ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive financial information
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills with a strong hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills and team orientation in a dynamic environment
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Fluency in German and English
