Electrical and Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
The Electrical and Automation Engineer (m/f/d) will help design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and / or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
- Participate in developing budgets, estimating labor, material and construction costs, and the design of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems for industrial purposes
- Apply general knowledge of principles, terms and practices of the electrical engineering discipline to support the design and build of safe and reliable operations
- Responsible for coordinating and providing direct support and delivery of services to an operation
- Execute and support electrical engineering standards and deliverables in capital projects
- Monitor and support progress for projects of low to medium levels of complexity and ensure appropriate resource allocations and portfolio prioritization
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
- Direct and oversee manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Electrical or Automation Engineering)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques in electrical area (instrumentation, automation, electrical installations)
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- English and German language knowledge – minimum conversational level (B2)

- Ability to handle multiple priorities with large projects extending over a period of time
- Capability to work efficiently and effectively as an individual and in a team environment
- Strong communication as well as technical skills
