To support our newly formed Innovation and AI team at the Hamburg headquarters, we are looking for you as a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d)* - Java with immediate effect in full-time (40 hours) . We are looking for a motivated and creative team player to be part of a new approach in the digital real estate industry. - Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate the application, ensuring it can handle computational demands of AI integrations
- Define your pipelines and orchestrate your resources in the most efficient way
- Write reusable, testable, a nd efficient codes and take end-to-end ownership of your solution from design to release
- Develop and maintain robust APIs that allow seamless integration and communication between the CRM system, AI models, and possibly other systems
- Participate actively in technical discussions and presentations with fellow engineers inside and outside your team
- Implementation of best practices in security and data protection
- Several years of commercial programming experience on Java with hands-on experience with Spring Boot and cloud-based backend architectures
- Good knowledge of data structures, deep understanding of relational database design principles & knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Ideally experience with AI development frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiar with Git, Kubernetes and Docker
- Knowledge of creating unit, integration and end2end tests
- Experience in developing distributed systems with high demands on performance and reliability
