Reporting directly to the VP IP Management you will be part of a small, highly specialized team.
Your responsibilities:
Identification of patenting opportunities, drafting of patent applications and development of suitable filing strategies
Handling of all stages of patent prosecution, including requesting SPCs/PTEs where applicable
Supporting the Patent Conflicts Team as needed
Additional tasks based on experience and/or interest
Your profile:
Freshly qualified or partially qualified European patent attorney
Excellent master's degree in organic chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry or related studies required; a PhD is desirable
Proactive with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and at least a willingness to learn German
