Lead Category and Supplier Management: Implement and oversee strategic supplier management and category initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
Drive Strategic Category Initiatives: Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies for various sub-categories, enhancing procurement effectiveness and value delivery.
Optimize Spend and Achieve Savings: Take ownership of spend performance, driving cost-saving initiatives and maximizing value within global category responsibilities.
Manage Large-scale Programs and Projects: Lead and represent the procurement function in significant programs and projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with project goals.
Champion Strategic Sourcing: Perform high-level strategic sourcing to secure optimal suppliers and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Over 3 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale procurement projects and strategic supplier relationships.
Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate favorable terms and build mutually beneficial partnerships.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the capability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive and Result-Oriented: Self-motivated and driven to achieve outstanding results, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Economical & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of market dynamics and financial principles to drive effective procurement strategies.
- Fluent Business English: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. German language skills is a plus.
