This position is based in our Li-Ion production plant in Hannover, Germany

Your contribution:

  • Coordinate customer communication and customer audit activities.
  • Work on claim activities to improve Customer Satisfaction.
  • Work on field claim activities to improve Customer Satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to owners of internal processes for potential improvement.
  • Ensure that Customer Specific Requirements are transferred into Control Plan (CP), FMEA and other related documents.
  • Ensure compliance to IATF standard.
  • Support introduction of new products (serial introduction).


Responsibilities: What you will do

  • Regular monitoring of the customer B2B platform regarding complaints, scorecard results and other relevant KPIs to monitor Customer Satisfaction including trends.
  • Coordinate communication of claims between the plant and the respective customer.
  • Support 8D reports for the customer:
  • Analyze the processes for finding out root causes (for 8D reports)
  • Coordinate and drive the processes for tracking corrective actions including the update of FMEA, CP and other relevant documents.
  • Organize and drive the implementation of immediate- containment actions.
  • Analyze field returns and field data and provide feedback to the plant and the respective customer.
  • Administer customer portals.
  • Authorization of rework at customer / Training of operating staff.
  • Create error analysis for other quality departments as requested.
  • Instruction of rework companies at customer
  • Visit customers for special quality issues.
  • Support audit planning (LPA, Process, Product, System)
  • Support IATF audit (intern / extern) including root cause analyses.
  • Support Power D3 activities for the plant (APQP)

Education and professional knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent discipline or a Degree as a Technician with strong experience in Quality.

  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality.

  • Knowledge of standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS) like IATF16949, VDA, Specific customer Requirements.

  • Knowledge in application of QMS tools and techniques.

  • Experience in the automotive industry.

  • Knowledge in PC software applications (Microsoft Office).

  • Knowledge in battery production, process, and battery applications.

  • Knowledge in problem solving.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.

  • Travel requirement up to 10%.
