We have the following hybrid position open at our Headquarters Ratingen, Germany.

Business Development Manager (f/m/x)


  • Develop and implement growth strategies for our Custom Manufacturing sector
  • Market our activities at existing and new customers as well as find and develop new leads for our growing Custom Manufacturing activities
  • Identify key stake holders at our customers responsible for outsourcing activities. Build and maintain strong relationships
  • Establish first footholds in new markets, for example pharma industry
  • Interact on a regular basis with the international sales teams to understand their needs and market requirements
  • Support Sales Managers and Product Managers in all technical questions concerning Custom Manufacturing activities
  • Interact closely with the R&D in our world-class lab in Pune/India for new developments
  • You report to the Head of Research & Process Development

  • You have a technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar education (B.Sc.) with solid experience in business development in the chemical or related industries
  • You are motivated by finding the best solutions for your customers, helping them to overcome their shortcomings in their current production or supply chain
  • You like and are able to interact with people on all levels of corporate structures, from procurement and R&D managers to CEOs, being able to win them over for your offer
  • You have an open international mindset, being fluent in English
  • International travel to clients and producers is a common routine for you
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills belong to your tool kit.
