For our dynamic and diverse Internal Audit team in Düsseldorf we are looking for you!
- Plan, prepare and conduct audit services with focus on enabling functions (e.g. Accounting, Tax, Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Legal, Strategy, HR)
- Analyse and evaluate organizational structures, business processes and procedures, associated risks and the control environment
- Develop recommendations / corrective measures together with the business to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, structures and controls
- Create easy to read and precise audit reports and formulate improvement potentials concisely
- Create transparent and complete audit service documentation
- Present results from audit services to the management
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations
- Strengthen the reliable and trustful cooperation with the business and relevant stakeholders
- Follow the Internal Audit high quality standards
- Support the annual audit planning process
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in related business functions such as Accounting, Controlling, Finance, Procurement, or comparable
- Knowledge of or experience with Internal Audit or similar functions would be advantageous
- Business acumen, risk and fraud risk awareness, striving for continuous improvement of processes
- Critical, analytical and process-oriented thinking, critical judgement, entrepreneurial mindset and professional curiosity
- Enthusiastic about using new technologies around AI and Data Analytics
- Strong communications skills combined with good stakeholder and conflict management capabilities
- Team player with cooperative work style who is sensitive to diversity and supports inclusion
- Fluent in written and spoken English, ideally in other languages e.g. German
- Professional certificates (e.g. CIA, CFE) would be a plus
