Job Purpose / Role:
In the Digital Production Lab, we drive digitalization and automation with a focus on five core pillars, that are: Mobile robots, Data & Analytics, Computer Vision, AI Robotics & Shopfloor Connectivity. Therefore we explore and industrialize the latest digital technologies in these domains and pave the way for new scalable cross-plant standards.
Together with other corporate functions we establish an eco-system to extract and process data across the company. Furthermore, we shape and build up the organization and capabilities that facilitate the realization of the mission to create value from data for Production & Logistics, this comprises data-governance, architecture, data-engineering and data-science. We are therefore eager to explore, learn and adapt in this field. Moreover, we accelerate our learning curve by joining forces with other brands within the Traton Group and VW. Another aspect of our work is the exploration and realization of decisive Data & Analytics UseCases with our international team in Lisbon and Pune.
- Your focus will be on supporting the design, development and testing of a generative AI application in means of a document chatbot for production personnel
- Communicate with various business departments, collect and document requirements
- Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and annotation tasks
- Ensure that company guidelines for handling data are met
- Support with the technical design and implementation of the application in the cloud (AWS)
- Prompt Engineering: Analyze and interpret results to iteratively improve the chatbot's performance
- You have the possibility to test out ideas in our lab and implement state-of-the-art technologies in a real production environment
- You will work closely with production experts/departments, IT professionals, and our international team to understand requirements, address challenges, and together drive the implementation of new applications for production
Your Qualifications:
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- You have a high affinity in the field of IT, software development and/or Machine Learning
- You are experienced in coding with Python and/or other programming languages
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques
- You have a hands-on mentality
- You have self-motivation, analytical skills and you are a great teammate
- Fluent in German and English
- You have an independent and structured way of working
