Job Description
Spairliners is a joint venture between Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik. The company offers a comprehensive component support solution for A380 and E-Jet operators. The services include the provisioning and management of the spare parts inventory and overhaul and repair of components, together with the appropriate logistics. Overall Spairliners guarantees the availability of aircraft components where and when required. Founded in 2005, the company is headquartered in Hamburg; warehousing is located in Paris.

Would you like to join our MRO Contract and Procurement Manager Team in our international and dynamic company in the aviation industry in the beautiful city of Hamburg?

We are looking for an experienced team player who is responsible for excellent communication and working relationship between Spairliners and MRO's.

  • Strategic Procurement:
    • Develop and execute procurement strategies for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul parts, materials, and services.
    • Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and supplier diversification.
    Contract Management:
    • Manage the full lifecycle of MRO contracts.
    • Ensure all contracts align with Spairliners' requirements.
    • Monitor and evaluate contract performance.
    Supplier Management:
    • Implement supplier performance programs to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service and reduce costs.
    Data Analysis:
    • Generate insightful reports to support decision-making and strategy development.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  • Completed relevant studies or training in the field.
  • 5-8 years of work experience in Procurement and Contract Management in the Aircraft Component Support business or in the aviation MRO industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Hands-on mentality and proactive approach.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office), SAP is a plus.
  • English business level skills, other language skills e.g., German or French are welcome.
  • High professional commitment and an international mind-set.
  • Willingness to travel.
