What it's all about: leading our Corporate Audit & Compliance team complying with the legal framework performing best auditing & compliance practices within the group.

As Senior Director Corporate Audit you enhance value by independently and objectively monitoring the internal control system, improving the effectiveness, efficiency, reliability and security of business processes, risk management, corporate governance. In terms of corporate compliance, you provide a Compliance Management System to guarantee that employees follow legal and internal requirements. You will be employed at our Group HQ in Dornbirn.

Your job

  • Planning & developing Audits: You are developing, planning, implementing, maintaining and continuously improve internal audit standards, -guidelines, -tools, as well as executing a quality assurance program to ensure compliance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
  • Acting as internal Consultant: Using the broad knowledge acquired during audit activities you act as an internal consultant, problem solver or change agent in projects, initiatives and change processes, including the creation of suggestions for the enhancement and continued development of the internal control system.
  • Maintaining & growth Compliance Management System (CMS): You are responsible for the upkeep and expansion of the CMS includes keeping an eye on legislative changes, aligning with internal policies, monitoring up-to-date, defining processes, ensuring high-level employee training, maintaining the intranet presence and issuing ad-hoc “We are clear” regulations.
  • CMS operations: You are in charge of all actions mention at the point previously and you have the ownership of the Whistleblowing System and the Code of Conduct. Your ownership extends to areas such as Meta Group Policies and other official guidelines (e.g. sponsoring).
  • Cooperation & Collaboration: You collaborate closely with the Management Board, Supervisory Board, managers and outside consultants and experts on the creation of audit strategies, audit standards, and audit execution.
  • Networking & Communication with Externals: Either with audit- or compliance external experts and authorities you are developing and maintaining a network and you are serving as a contact for external authorities (WP, ISO, IIA, ISACA, Controller institute).
  • Team Leadership: You will grow, develop and lead a high-performing team (3 auditors/1 compliance employee) by fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. As a strong leader with exceptional leadership skills you provide guidance, support and assign annual performance targets to your employees.

  • You completed an economic degree from a university, passed the Certified Internal Auditor exam and got additional a legal training as a Compliance Officer.
  • You have 5+ years of relevant professional experience in internal auditing, compliance, process management and/or controlling.
  • It would be ideal if you had this experience in management role in an auditing firm or an internationally operating industrial company.
  • Your persuade us with your excellent conceptual, analytical and problem- solving abilities and your broad perspective on business contexts while maintaining attention to details.
  • You are an excellent communicator (German and English) with strong interpersonal and leadership skills who can influence at all levels.
  • You possess strong IT-skills and a solid technical understanding, with a preference for individuals with experience with SAP (S/4 HANA).
  • At the end of the day, you enjoy working in a global setting and are prepared to travel up to 40%.
