Job Description

PEAC Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Asset Manager in Europe to support a variety of business units and introductory channels focused across Construction, Transportation, Industrial, Material Handling and Printing assets.

This role involves equipment valuation, creating matrices, remarketing equipment, inspections, steering repossession activities, and end‐of‐term management. This position reports to the Head of Asset Management, Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment valuation to set collateral and residual values: Determine the future value of the equipment at the end of the lease term and assess the current market value of construction, transport, industrial, material handling and printing equipment, considering factors such as age, condition, and market supply and demand
  • Maintenance of collateral and residual value matrices: Develop and maintain matrices that predict the future value of leased equipment and obtain annual approval through the relevant committees
  • Market awareness: industry trends, market conditions, legislation, environmental requirements that could impact asset values on our books for setting collateral and residual values for new business
  • Remarketing Equipment: As maybe required provide oversight and expertise to remarket or re-lease equipment once the initial lease has ended. Develop and implement effective remarketing processes or strategies tailored to off‐lease and repossessed equipment specifics
  • Maintain relationships: with vendors, dealers, auction houses, brokers, and other sales channels, service and data providers to ensure informed decision making
  • Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the asset management lifecycle to minimize asset risk and maximise opportunity within the portfolio.
  • Team Management: Where applicable, lead and manage assigned remarketing and asset managers, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging professional growth
  • Collaborate: with sales, credit, operations, finance, and legal teams to streamline processes, improve the customer experience, and trouble shoot and resolve process breakdowns

Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven asset management experience in equipment leasing and finance industry, particularly in vendor finance and hard assets
  • Strong knowledge of equipment valuation methodologies, remarketing tactics, and end of term strategy within the core markets and asset classes
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, communication skills, problem‐solving skills
  • Ability to source relevant market data and analyse to make informed decisions
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Self‐motivated with the ability to work independently, and work as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to our Headquarter in Hamburg/Germany as needed
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
