tesa's global tax & customs team is a true partner to the business, providing real-time tax & customs support and aligning external legislative and regulatory changes with business realities. It is responsible for giving tax & customs advice within the tesa Group and ensuring that business processes are correctly reflected in relevant tax & customs reporting and compliance processes.
We are looking for an International customs & trade compliance manager who supports our dynamic tax & customs team in a changing environment. You will be supporting with the following tasks:
- Advising the national and international tesa companies as well as answering supplier and customer inquiries in customs- and preferential law and export controls
- Monitoring of the AEO certification and tesa SE's customs permits
- Global Key User of the Compliance Management Modul in GTS e/4 Hana, process management of the systemic export control of tesa SE
- Global Key User of the sanction list screening and further development of the existing processes
- Development and implementation of export control, customs and preferential trainings
- Support of customs audits
- Completed degree in business administration, customs or similar
- Relevant professional experience (customs, trade compliance and logistics)
- In-depth knowledge of foreign trade / customs law (regulations of the preferential origin of goods, import, export, export control and sanction list screening)
- Good knowledge of SAP GTS and other IT Applications
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high level of initiative and creative drive
- Project management, coordination and participation in international (project) teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in German and English
