In our Agile Software team, we develop vehicle software for the central vehicle ECU and related tools - in the application domains Climate Control, Interieur Coordinator, Body & Comfort.

What awaits you?

  • You are responsible for the software component architecture of an application domain in one of the most complex ECUs in the BMW vehicle structure.
  • The driving of planning and tracking of backlog items with strong personal engagement is part of your tasks.
  • You are responsible for Embedded Software development (C++) for central vehicle functions, and some Python development for related tools.
  • In our team, you can drive every aspect of our work: Starting with the Software architecture, the implementation, testing (unit tests, SiL, HiL), up to the integration on hardware and in vehicles.
  • Thanks to agile development methods and state-of-the-art tools, you can help us achieve the highest levels of performance, stability, safety, and security in our software.

What should you bring along?

  • University degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development and software quality, ideally programming in the language C++.
  • Experience in Python is a plus.
  • Solid experience in embedded Software development as well as debugging on hardware.
  • Ideally knowledge in Automotive Software Development, AUTOSAR and MISRA-C++.
  • Business-fluent English and good German language skills.
