Your mission will be multifaceted, involving the definition and realization of strategic initiatives that align with our overarching infotainment platform strategy. You will be the catalyst for change, guiding teams through the transformation with your expertise and enthusiasm.

What awaits you?

  • You are responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of SW architecture within the Android Head Unit Generations as well as ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability.
  • You ensure the implementation of Android Design guidelines and our cross generation compatibility requirements.
  • Your scope includes exploring & defining the needs for the Android Software Architecture (mainly defined by Google) and working with all stakeholders within the business lines as well as the E/E wide system & software architects.
  • Furthermore, your responsibility lies with ensuring compliance with SW quality standards, security requirements and Android best practice.
  • Syncing on SW architecture topics with different SW projects belongs to your tasks as well as prioritizing the problems to solve and proposing solutions to stakeholders.
  • Establishing a core team for implementing the required solutions is also part of your job profile.

What should you bring along?

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of working experience in Automotive project management, embedded software development, SW architecture integration, quality, or testing.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication technologies and interface management, e.g. CAN, Ethernet, SomeIP, and inter-process communication, sockets, binder and protocols on top.
  • Experience with SW development tools and methods.
  • Good communication skills with all kinds of stakeholders from developers to senior managers and the motivation to proactively drive and iterate towards a common solution.
  • Good German Skills are required.
