Sales Manager (all genders) ICT Channel - BNP Paribas 3 Step IT Germany

Location: Remote

This service offer, deeply rooted in the circular economy, will meet organizations' demands for more flexible and sustainable product as service solutions. The Joint Venture offers complete technology lifecycle management solutions that includes reconditioning at the end of the contract to give devices a second life. The alliance brings together BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, the European leader in the financing of professional equipment, and 3stepIT, an expert in the field of sustainable management of IT equipment. BNP Paribas 3 Step IT currently operates in France, Italy, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and Spain, with further expansion planned as part of an ambitious Growth Plan.

Now we are expanding our sales team in Germany to grow our partnerships in the ICT channel and offer our world-class technology lifecycle management solution to new customers.

We are currently looking for a hunter-minded Sales Manager to generate new sales and contribute to the growth of the BNP Paribas 3 Step IT business in the Germany. You will actively acquire new partnerships in the ICT channel and enable customers to manage their IT assets in a smarter and more sustainable way. This opportunity allows you to develop and execute the sales strategy that will create successful relationships with partners in the ICT market and other market segments. With your existing network in the IT market and with our world-class technology lifecycle management solution we can create a better future one step at a time.

In this position, you will report directly to the Germany Country Sales Manager.

In more detail, the role will involve:

  • Win new customers by building, developing and executing a sales strategy to grow across new partnerships including IT Channel partners, IT service providers, system integrators and OEM´s as well in other assigned targets markets, then monitor, drive and develop the accounts on long-term
  • Use consultative sales approach to define priorities, identify customer needs and propose our Technology Lifecycle Management solutions
  • Drive your sales, identify key targets, prioritize prospects and engage at a senior level using a range of business development skills
  • Develop relations with top decision makers (typically director or C-level) and seek to strengthen relationship and maximize share of wallet

In order to succeed in this position, we would need you to have/be:

  • Bachelor's degree in in business, financing or sales related field or equivalent
  • 5+ years of service sales experience from selling within the ICT market
  • In-depth knowledge of ICT industry and relevant marketplace; can speak with authority, e.g., on industry trends, best practices, competitive practices, regulatory issues, etc.
  • Hunter mindset with passion to win new business and create successful relationships
  • Experience in selling a solutions-based product
  • Experience from working with international customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and German with great interpersonal skills
  • Act in ways that demonstrate customer focus and satisfaction by building effective relationships
