At Commerzbank's DLT/Blockchain competence center in the Technology Foundation division, we are implementing a new, innovative, and sustainable business approach for the bank: The safekeeping of digital assets. The foundation is provided by blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) for which we are developing the next-generation digital infrastructure. - Full-stack software development of microservices for the Crypto Custody and Digital Assets team at all stages of the development lifecycle, from design & design to implementation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Integration of applications into the bank's existing infrastructure and application landscape
- Containerization with Docker, as well as creation of Kubernetes/OpenShift manifests for deploying and managing applications in cloud environments
- Set up and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Collaboration with other developers and business experts to clarify requirements and jointly design solutions, as well as write high-quality code
- Code review of other developers and joint pair programming to solve difficult challenges
- 3rd-level support
- Completed computer science studies or comparable qualifications, career changers are also welcome
- Conceptual and analytical skills; curiosity to dive deep into complex new technologies
- Knowledge of Java (or a similar programming language like C# or Kotlin) with Spring Boot and frontend technologies (ideally React with Typescript)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design
- Experience with SQL database systems (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated test, integration, and deployment workflows
Further it would be of advantage to:
- Understand cryptographic principles and digital signatures as well as asymmetric encryption, e.g. RSA encryption or ECDSA
- Have experience with authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2.0/OIDC
- Have experience with blockchain technologies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum
