  • Participation in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, (quarterly) and annual financial closing activities.
  • Enter financial data, such as revenues, accruals, provisions, deferrals and reclassification entries into the ledger.
  • Reconcile accounts, including intercompany accounts, with the general ledger.
  • Support the consolidation of financial statements.
  • Support auditors in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Assist various departments and if required also collaborate with international accounting teams at Raisin on accounting issues and queries.
  • Drive improvements in the efficiency of accounts payable and employee expenses processes (Spendesk) in line with our current procedures.
  • Support the AP team with accurately recording and classifying vendor bills and paying them within the specified terms.
  • Create and enforce accounting processes. Maintain general ledger accounts and gather and/or create supporting documentation.
  • Documentation and improvement of existing accounting processes. Support the design and implementation of new accounting processes.
  • Ability to develop and document solutions to complex accounting decisions and develop solutions to tax issues in close collaboration with our tax advisors.


  • You have an academic degree in accounting or a comparable education/qualification.
  • Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
  • Several years of practical experience in financial accounting, including both General Ledger and Accounts Payables functions.
  • Strong ability to handle German Local GAAP (HGB), IFRS and German Tax matters. Desire to constantly improve in these areas.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and accounting management principles, as well as general ledger and accounts payables processes. Experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements is a plus.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite would be an advantage).
  • Experience in supporting statutory audits of annual financial statements and tax audits.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where a high level of accuracy and problem-solving skills matter.
