The Neu-Isenburg, Germany site is one of two primary manufacturing locations for the production of Industrial Solutions, Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions printing plates for DuPont and is located approximately 10 km south of Frankfurt International Airport. This business unit is part of DuPont's Electronics and Industrial business.

The Quality Specialist (m/f/d) oversees the Cyrel® Neu-Isenburg Quality organization and is responsible for identifying key organizational development and systemic improvement opportunities. The Quality Manager implements and maintains the site quality management system, implements business unit quality improvement strategies at the site level, establishes and publishes appropriate quality performance metrics, analyzes performance and recommends improvement programs related to product, process and procedures. The Quality Manager coordinates reporting, accurate and timely communication of the quality policy, quality principles, and quality performance within the site. In addition, to ensure customer satisfaction, the Quality Manager is a primary contact and intermediary when escalation of Quality issues occurs.

The Cyrel® facilities at Neu-Isenburg consist of a continuous plate extrusion line. There is an existing group of Process Control Engineers currently supporting the manufacturing line. They work with our production process and its continual improvement, carry out investment and renewal projects, often in contact with external companies, are responsible for production runs and the quality of a product line and/or have responsibilities in the area of process safety.

For our location in Neu-Isenburg, Hessen, Germany we are looking for the next possible starting date a Quality Specialist (m/f/d).


  • Supporting the Manufacturing Technology Group to lead the site's strategic Quality plan with input from the Global Quality Leader, Global Manufacturing Technology Leader, Operations Leadership, Sales and Marketing Leaders, business managers, R&D, and customers.
  • Translate customer quality requirements into executable plans that incorporate the development of site capabilities.
  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality certification.
  • Lead organizational response to critical Quality issues. Interact as needed with customers, both proactively and reactively, Customer Services, Sales representatives and other Interfaces to demonstrate Quality commitment.
  • Monitor and analyze the Quality Management System processes through internal audits, performance reviews, and networking to deliver QMS improvements.
  • Influence the leadership network to support Quality initiatives and improvements. Develop and review performance indicators and drive improvement. Review Quality metrics & programs and recommend areas for organizational focus and attention.
  • Responsible for primary coordination with local product warehouse Contractor supervision and site/leveraged Contract Administration oversight, with regards to product Quality inspections and containment system effectiveness and improvement.
  • Responsible to log SCAR's Supplier Corrective Action Requests into the relevant management system. Communicate with Suppliers and internal partners to drive SCAR to closure.
  • Conduct supplier audits as required, conduct yearly Central Warehouse Audit
  • Ensure the corrective and preventative action systems are used to satisfy customers and promote improvements.
  • Customer Complaint oversight and continual improvement within SFDC complaint system for all customer complaints. Monthly re-conciliation work within SFDC complaint system.
  • Provide Quality Trainings to Interfaces as required
  • Assume responsibility for a product family, investment projects and/or process safety tasks

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical / Quality-related fields / Master's degree advantageous; a minimum of 5 years experience in quality in a manufacturing environment
  • Applied knowledge and experience working with Quality Management System requirements of ISO 9001:2015
  • Quality certification preferred (CMQ / OE, CQE, CQA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis tools, (5-Whys, FMEA, Fishbone, etc.)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification desired
  • Advanced skills in SFDC, SAP / R3 and MS Office usage
  • Business fluency in German and English.
    Strong understanding and high discipline for occupational safety
    Demonstrated strong networking, interpersonal skills and professionalism to deal with all levels of management, personnel, clients and business representatives
    Effective decision-making abilities, along with planning, organizing and priority-setting skills
