Founded in 1921, OLDENDORFF CARRIERS combines its history as a German shipowner with the network of one of the world's leading drybulk operators. We currently control some 700 chartered and owned vessels of 40 mio tdw, and we carry around 380 mio tons of raw materials and semi-finished products across the seven seas each year. The L&D team is a dynamic and forward-thinking team dedicated to empowering our employees with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic working student with a strong interest in Learning and Development (L&D) to join us beginning of September 2024.
As a working student in L&D, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of five to shape our employees' learning journeys, enabling them to excel in their roles while keeping pace with industry advancements.
- Help schedule, organize and monitor training and coaching activities
- Prepare presentations and data reports
- Process invoices
- Select and recommend e-learning content on LinkedIn Learning
- Create, distribute and analyze surveys
- Assist with other administrational tasks
- Gain practical experience in various Learning & Development activities
- Immatriculated student, favorable in social studies, HR, psychology, business administration or in a related field
- Physical presence in one of our German offices (either in Lübeck or Hamburg) with partial working from home opportunity
- An open communicator with a proactive problem-solving approach
- Organizational skills and familarity with Microsoft 365 applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Enthusiasm for contributing your own ideas and initiatives
