About the Role
In this role, you will play an important part in driving strategies and forging new partnerships for both product and channel expansions. The Partnerships Team is at the forefront of new go-to-market initiatives at Aurora in the DACH region. This role will work alongside cross-functional teams (e.g. product, engineering, go-to-market) within Aurora Solar and liaise with external partners. Tasks will encompass the development and implementation of new partnerships and related strategies while maintaining the health of our current partner ecosystem. Other projects will aim to grow new partner categories and improve Aurora Solar product integration.

Your Impact
  • Initiate and drive strategic Research & Analysis: Identify high-ROI market segments and potential partners, conduct company assessments, evaluate inbound inquiries, and analyze partnership financial implications within the SaaS ecosystem
  • Deal cycle and closure: prioritize and select potential partnerships well, own the negotiation, and drive them to closure
  • Partnership Management: Oversee Aurora Solar's pivotal product and SaaS ecosystem partnerships in the DACH region, spearheading the implementation of collaborative initiatives and unveiling innovative offerings to enrich the experience of Aurora Solar users
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Uphold the highest levels of excellence and integrity in partner and deal management, anchoring strategies in milestone tracking, KPI analysis, and a mutual alignment of interests and opportunities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with key partners, improving their understanding of Aurora Solar's unique value proposition. Develop strategic alignment between executive teams to cultivate robust ecosystem partnerships
  • Industry Strategy: Use gathered industry insights to formulate and implement strategic partnership, product, and ecosystem partnership plans, ensuring alignment with Aurora Solar's overarching objectives
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate across teams such as legal, product, sales, marketing, and engineering to craft and pioneer new partnership models for products and ecosystem partnerships

What You Bring
  • At least 6 years of experience in driving growth through SaaS ecosystems
  • Strong interest in the solar industry; experience in solar or renewable energy preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, building ad-hoc teams as needed and aligning Partnership objectives with those of other departments and teams
  • An understanding of product partnership dynamics and business models backed with experience working in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies
  • Broad and deep experience implementing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go-to-market models
  • Experience negotiating commercial deals with technology partners, including scaling such deals across multiple partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence collaborators internally and externally across a wide variety of functions
  • Business-level proficiency in German and English
