About the Role

You will be an important early member of the local team, building Aurora's team of Account Executives in Germany, and report directly to the General Manager in Germany. This role will focus on addressing the DACH Mid-Market for Aurora Solar, which is an important segment within our GTM efforts. We require you to manage, train, and support a team of Mid-Market Account Executives in becoming more efficient with their sales process by establishing effective tooling workflows, developing sales strategy, and up-leveling the team's understanding of the solar customer base in Germany.

Your Impact
  • Manage, train, and support a team of Account Executives in Germany in achieving revenue targets for the German solar market
  • Understand client needs in the Mid-Market segment of the DACH region while developing a strategy to address this segment with the appropriate sales motion
  • Operationalize and automate sales processes by, driving operational efficiency with a data-driven approach
  • Work with the US team to optimize our tech stack and prospecting capabilities, specific to Germany.
  • Optimize sales KPIs while owning accurate forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Own your revenue target and understand how to build pipeline in close teamwork with Marketing
  • Build detailed reporting dashboards to monitor the sales activity of the team
  • Work closely with customer success leadership to positively influence usage value
  • Support Account Executives in closing deals through mentorship, coaching, and creative sales techniques

What You Bring
  • Prior experience in solar, solar distribution, panel manufacturing, or solar adjacent industries such as construction, HVAC, roofing, and battery manufacturing
  • 7+ years of professional sales experience with at least 3 years of managing sales teams
  • Has a proven history of meeting organizational, team, and personal goals
  • Success in hiring and retaining hard-working Account Executives
  • A strong passion for developing team members to succeed and grow as successful Account Executives through coaching and mentoring
  • A positive “Can-Do” attitude, energy, and passion for our mission to scale Aurora in Germany
  • Collaboration! We support each other and work closely with the US Team
  • Understanding the ambiguities of a start-up
  • Business-level proficiency in German and English
