Our agency is part of a subsidiary of a well-recognized Group in the construction industry. We support our clients in Germany in the design, manufacturing, and construction of industrial, logistical, commercial, and office buildings, as well as parking structures.
We have 30 employees and achieve a turnover of €30 million. Our clients appreciate our high production capacity, our proximity (direct links with major accounts and indirect links through a network of local construction partners), our technical expertise, and our commitment to quality.
To support our growth and better structure our German operations (Mainz), we are recruiting our:
Agency Director - Building / Construction M/F/D
Engineering and Project / Mainz (Germany)
Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the management committee, you will take charge of all the agency's activities. You will report to the General Manager of the subsidiary. Your role is to ensure both our operational performance and the development of our activities.
You will oversee all execution phases of the projects and monitor the associated financial results. You will ensure that projects are optimized in terms of technical aspects, deadlines, and costs. You will promote and develop a culture of excellence by involving and motivating employees in the search for optimized solutions and processes. Specifically, this involves analyzing, challenging, and optimizing designs, ensuring the quality of realizations and customer service, and managing the legal and financial aspects of projects. Your leadership of the teams will create the conditions for a dynamic environment where everyone can grow in service of the project. Your mission includes a change management component.
In collaboration with the Sales Manager, you will develop our growth strategy, particularly to target the market with general contractors and parking structures. You will support its deployment.
Your success in this role will allow you to establish yourself within the Group over time and evolve towards broader responsibilities.
With an engineering background, you have approximately 15 years' experience in the construction sector, working on construction projects within large Groups or SMEs / ETIs. You have a strong culture in the construction industry. Your professional experience has made you familiar with general contractors. You are familiar with managing bid response files (RAO).
Knowledge of metal structures would be an advantage but is not essential. An international mindset is essential in our European environment, where the working language is English.
You may currently be an Agency Director, Agency Manager, Project Director, Studies Director, Technical Director, Operations Director, or Operations Manager.
