Supply Planner (m/f/d)
As an e-commerce Marketplace, Metro Markets works with hundreds of Vendors and Suppliers within Germany, Europe and beyond, managing thousands of products to deliver on our customer's needs while providing great service.
We are looking for a Supply Planner Spain & Portugal (m/f/d)
You will be responsible for the analysis of sales data and demand forecasting, liaising with vendors and suppliers, developing inventory replenishment strategy, managing potential supply chain risk, monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, and working with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to align supply chain plans with business objectives.
In addition, the following tasks await you:
- Fulfilling order process
- Generating reports to measure and improve supplier performance and product availability
- Planning and monitoring orders to ensure products arrive on time and in full
- Liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally across the Supply Chain
- Manage claims and returns
- Playing an integral part in improving existing Supply Chain processes.
- In-depth knowledge in purchasing & supply chain acquired through a relevant degree
- Coordinate opportunistic buying and selling activities with the Commercial department
- Analytical, conceptual and goal-oriented way of working
- Experience in planning and dealing with multifactor environment
- High level of ownership and end-to-end thinking
- Experience in setting, monitoring and reporting KPIs
- Comfort in dealing with big volumes of data, detail focused and accuracy in numbers
- Experience in using ERP systems and MS software (advanced MS Excel as a must). Power BI knowledge as a benefit as well as other technical knowledge and skills
- Coordinate opportunistic buying and selling activities with the Commercial department
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential
- Spanish is highly beneficial as any other European language
