We are currently seeking an Electronics Unit Manager to join our teams!

The Electronics Unit Manager oversees and coordinates global activities in electronics (software, testing, systems) for our Business Group Seating. They provide guidance and strategy to the software team on this subject and are responsible for the technology and resource roadmap.
  • Managing department activities on a global scale, including the software engineering design office, testing software models and components, and integrated control laws for various products and systems.
  • Analyzing technological trends, resource needs, and market/project demands to plan projects and define the associated roadmap.
  • Setting scientific and technical goals within the broad outlines provided by senior management.
  • Owning and tracking a software technology roadmap, including Model-Based Design (MBD), software architecture, low-level drivers, and system integrations.
  • Providing software guidance and strategy to projects, developing plans to achieve objectives, and leading integration activities.
  • Reporting to the division on the status of strategy deployment and the evolution of action plans.
  • Assisting the team in determining, in collaboration with management, the technical feasibility, profitability, and customer demand for new and existing software.
  • Creating a supplier network for technology implementation, as well as the design and simulation environment.

The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • A master's degree or engineering diploma in electronics
  • Over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in electrical/electronic architectures
  • More than 5 years of experience in managing diverse teams
  • Strong experience in system integration and validation
  • Ability to work and lead in a matrix organization within an international environment
  • Capability to define and drive a vision in their domain
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in both English and German
