HR Data and Reporting Analyst / Workday Reporting Analyst (m/f/d)

Region: Cologne or Künzelsau (mobile work partly possible)

  • Be accountable for the overall people-related data strategy and maintenance of people data in collaboration with functional HR experts and other functions (e.g., Master Data, HR-IT, Controlling)
  • Lead or contribute to global projects and initiatives related to HR data and reporting inside and outside of Workday, including qualitative and quantitative data integration, analysis, validation, visualization and interpretation to derive actionable recommendations
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative steering metrics and tools to improve decision-making processes and employee experience
  • Continuously improve data standardization and maintenance
  • Serve as the central employee analytics and reporting expert, providing analytical support (analysis and dashboards) for HR functions dealing with complex data and recognizing patterns
  • Evaluate HR data and core HR KPI performances, initiating dialogues for counteractions
  • Produce standard and ad hoc reporting for multiple stakeholders
  • Define overarching planning and budget aspects for employee topics, including steering of the central HR budget
  • Maintain and continuously improve all data and reporting standards in Workday in collaboration with functional experts
  • Implement and maintain calculation rules, definitions, reports and dashboards in Workday in collaboration with functional experts
  • Source other data into Workday with Prism
  • Support the biannual Workday release cycle for the reporting area
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for 2nd level Workday-related inquiries and escalations on data and reporting
  • Design and facilitate user training sessions on data and reporting in Workday in collaboration with the HCM Change Analyst
  • Consult, support and train the global HR community with a mid-term goal to build, manage and train a Global Reporting Community

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Business Administration, Economics or Psychology
  • Several years of professional experience in HR Controlling or BI
  • Self-directed and motivated professional with ideally deep technical Workday experience
  • Proven experience in Workday HR configuration in HR analytics and reporting (e.g., Workday Report Writer, dashboards, discovery boards, worksheets and slides)
  • High-level Excel skills
  • Several years of work experience in Workday HCM reporting, analytics and Workday Prism, Workday Pro certificate in reporting and/or Prism, familiarity with Workday security concepts and excellent knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools advantageous
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are desirable, but not essential
