As a PHP developer at auxmoney, you will be part of one of our cross-functional teams that work according to the principles of Scrum or Kanban. Each team operates independently and focuses on a specific topic such as our application process, the integration of partner interfaces, the loan approval process or the cash flows from investors and borrowers. You will find a variety of roles in the teams, including backend and frontend developers, software testers and product owners.
Although each team operates autonomously, professional exchange between the teams is very important to us and is actively encouraged. Our developers work in pairs or as a mob to ensure knowledge transfer. We develop our logic in independent domain services, which are deployed quickly and easily in Kubernetes clusters using our specially developed CI/CD structures. Supported by our DevOps team, the teams can manage the entire software lifecycle from build, deploy and run.
The continuous development of our employees is particularly important to us. That's why among other things we offer an OpenSpace day every 4 weeks, where our team members can explore new things independently of their current tasks.
What you can expect:
- Participation in the sustainable development of our products in cooperation with the cross-functional Scrum team
- Development of complex business systems in PHP8 using the Symfony framework
- Responsibility for automated testing with PHPUnit or Cypress
- Active collaboration in the development of a service-oriented architecture
- Development of a distributed domain service application based on Kafka event-based communication
- Maximum flexibility - you can work from our modern headquarters or nationwide from wherever works best for you
- Ability to work in a team and initiative to contribute innovative ideas
- Practical experience in the backend area
- Initial knowledge of PHP, Symfony and MySQL databases
- Experience with test environments such as PHPUnit or Cypress as well as knowledge in the use of version control systems (preferably Git)
- Motivation, ability to work in a team and willingness to learn are essential
- Experience with agile development methods, especially Scrum, is desired
- Good to very good written and spoken English skills are required, good German skills are desired
