PAYROLL SPECIALIST m•f•d
Hamburg | full-time | temporary for two years
  • In this position, you will ensure monthly payments and the administrative and social operations of Human Resources, according to legal requirements for various European countries (Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway and Denmark).
  • Moreover, you will process and verify all payroll transactions for salaried and shift employees.
  • Day-to-day administration of the payroll software also belongs to your scope of tasks.
  • You will resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions via all communication methods.
  • Maintaining a current knowledge of legislation relating to employee pay is an important task of yours, too.
  • To ensure queries are dealt with appropriately, you will work in collaboration with the Human Resources and Finance teams.
  • Last but not least, you will create regular payroll reports and ad-hoc special reports with Excel and conduct year-end closing activities.

  • You have excellent knowledge and experience with payroll, preferably in an international environment.
  • Your responsibilities require good communications skills in German and English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of all administration processes that are associated with payroll.
  • Additionally, you pay excellent attention to detail.
  • You are confident and experienced in dealing with people and explaining complex issues in a compassionate, logical and simple manner.
  • Strong organizational skills whilst being able to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines round off your profile.
