- You will be responsible for the concept design of large-volume type 4 pressurised tanks for storing hydrogen to power commercial vehicles, based on the specifications of the H2 pressurised tank development engineers
- Constructive realisation of the designed concepts in Siemens NX
- Creation of parts lists and creation of article numbers in SAP
- Creation of 2D drawings for purchasing and certification authorities
- You will be responsible for the geometric integration of the gas-capable H2 pressurised tanks into the tank rack storage system in collaboration with the system development designers
- You carry out the design tasks entrusted to you in compliance with the project milestones
- You are a member of the tank development team in Garching and actively shape the H2 tank development in coordination with the product and process as well as industrialisation and validation specialists
- You already have sound professional experience in the automotive industry and have in-depth experience in the field of CAD design of H2 pressurised tanks and their gas-carrying attachments
- You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in liaising with suppliers and other interface partners in the automotive environment
- We require very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Personally, you will impress with your independent work, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
