(Junior) GL Accountant*

Finance, Legal, HR & Audits Experienced Permanent Full-Time


  • Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IAS/IFRS)
  • Determintation, reconciliation and posting of prepaid expenses and accruals as well as other items of the general ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts
  • Check of posting proposal lists of parked incoming invoices and payment proposal lists with regard to compliance with external and internal guidelines
  • Handling of VAt returns & refunds, and statistics for German government
  • Contact person for questions related to accounting according to HGB and IAS/IFRS
  • Preparing the advance sales tax return
  • Preparing of account reconciliations and integrity checking
  • Maintaining Accounting Manuals & CoA descriptions & the correct use thereof
  • Creation of statistics and evaluations
  • Participation in cross-departmental projects
  • Supporting Senior Manager of Accounting

  • Degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and/or commercial education with further training as an accountant (IHK), ideally as an international accountant (IHK)
  • Several years of professional experience in the described field
  • Excellent knowledge of the accounting regulations according to HGB and IAS/IFRS
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel
  • Excellent knowledge in working with SAP/S4 Hana
  • Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
