YOUR ROLE
  • Coordinate all Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities/projects that take place in the factory
  • Lead a small team in Lean management on site
  • Coach on Lean activities and approaches in all pillars, including on-site activities
  • Ensure that all improvement activities are successfully completed
  • Work closely with the Lean team to develop and implement standards for the community
  • Ensure that reporting requirements are communicated and fulfilled via agreed formats
  • Regularly review the results of improvement activities and take action as required
  • Train and mentor teams to drive improvement initiatives across the organization
  • Support the development of methods, systems and tools that support the increase of OEE, the reduction of maintenance costs and the improvement of SHEQ KPIs
  • Lead workshops with all plant stakeholders to increase the level of skills and autonomy of the production teams
  • Review the implementation of Lean at the site to ensure the highest standard of effectiveness

YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in chemistry, engineering, supply chain or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the lean field, including proven success in project management
  • Ideally first management experience
  • Extensive experience with Lean and Six Sigma methods such as: Poka Yoke, problem solving, store floor management, Six Sigma/ DMAIC, OEE, visual management, 5S, value stream mapping
  • VSM, A3, Kaizen, Lean Layout (cells), Makigami, One Piece Flow, QCO/SMED, Standardized Work, TPM, Yamazumi (Line Balancing) is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and proven coaching and training skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach, analytical skills and the ability to motivate people at all levels
  • Fluency in German and English
