  • Providing risk technical consultancy to a large and complex portfolio of property business (primarily in the Heavy Industry) in line with global guidelines
  • Proactively manage the progress and completion of risk improvement measures and supporting client retention for all types of operations
  • Completing surveys, desktop reviews, advising customers and underwriters in regard to risk engineering best practice and assessment of property risks in the underwriting and claims process
  • Support in the management of the international risk engineering network
  • Completing maximum loss assessments (Probable Maximum Loss (PML) assessments)
  • Creation and further development of safety-related concepts and protection standards
  • Independent implementation of training courses, guidelines and workshops (internally and externally)
  • Supervision of technical projects (internally and externally)

  • Completed university studies in engineering or natural sciences or similar qualification
  • Professional experience in an internationally operating company
  • Previous loss prevention background (>5 years at a reputable property risk engineering provider) desirable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as strong customer orientation
  • Analytical thinking as well as structured, efficient way of working
  • Seize opportunities to innovate by applying market and customer insights
  • Good written and spoken English plus knowledge of another foreign language (e.g. German)
  • High willingness to travel internationally
