We are proud to offer the Walter Morales STEM Scholarship, a $1,000 award dedicated to students committed to pursuing a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. Eligibility

• Enrollment Status: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or undergraduate program at a U.S.A. college or university.
• Field of Study: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
• Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum 3.0 Grade Point Average.
• Essay Requirement: Applicants must submit an original, 500-700 word essay that answers the following question: “Describe a STEM project or experience that has inspired you to pursue a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. How do you see this scholarship helping you achieve your goals in these fields?
• Submission Deadline: All applications, including essays, must be submitted by April 15, 2025.

Application Process

• Complete the Online Application Form: Visit the Walter Morales STEM Scholarship website and fill out the online application form with your personal and academic information. Ensure all fields are completed accurately.
• Prepare Your Essay: Write a 500-700 word essay addressing the provided question. The essay must be original and provide insights into your passion for STEM and how the scholarship will help you achieve your goals. The essay must not be AI-generated.
• Submit Your Essay: Save your essay as a PDF file. You will need to upload this file as part of your application on the website.
• Submit Proof of Enrollment: Upload a current enrollment verification document from your accredited U.S. institution as part of your application.
• Winner Announcement: The winner of the Walter Morales STEM Scholarship will be announced on May 20, 2025, on the scholarship website and will also be notified via email.
• Award Distribution: The $1,000 scholarship will be sent directly to the winner’s institution to be applied to tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
