John Milne Scholarship

John Milne Scholarship is a $1,000 award established to support students pursuing higher education in the United States. Open to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in any faculty at accredited U.S. colleges and universities, this scholarship reflects John Milne’s commitment to education and his belief in its power to transform lives. By alleviating some of the financial burdens of tuition and expenses, the scholarship aims to empower students to focus on their studies and future contributions to their communities.

Eligibility Requirements 

Each entry must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarship:

  • Eligibility:
    1. The scholarship is open to all students enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university in the United States.
    2. There are no restrictions on majors or areas of study. We welcome applications from all disciplines.
    3. International students who are studying in the USA can also apply.

How to Apply:

  • Essay Submission:
    1. Applicants must submit a 600 to 700-word essay.
    2. Essays should be the original work of the applicant. Plagiarism, or the use of AI-generated content, is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
  • Application Form: Applicants must fill out the application form available on this website.

Describe a significant challenge you have overcome in your life and how it has shaped your aspirations for the future.
