Mann Lake Beekeeping Scholarship

We are pleased to announce Mann Lake’s scholarship for college students who aspire to be outstanding and extraordinary. We are looking for academically excellent students who are in pursuit of better education and currently/about to be enrolled in any apiology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, and other related studies.
The Mann Lake Scholarship offers a one-time award of $1,000 to cover educational-related costs, including tuition, books, computers, room and board, and other educational expenses.
We are looking for undergraduate students at any accredited college or university in the United States who will be enrolled in classes in 2023 and are eligible to apply for this grant.

Application criteria:

    •    Must be 18 years or older
    •    Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
    •    Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. college or university
    •    Must be a student/enrollee of any of the following: entomology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, or other related studies.

How to apply:

For a chance to win the scholarship, write a 300-word essay on any of the following topics:
    •    In the fast-changing environment now, in your own words, how did it affect the bees, and what must be done to protect their population from getting smaller?
    •    How can we spread awareness that caring for the bees is caring for the environment in general?
    •    Aside from honey, what other benefits of bees are underrated?
Essays must be submitted as an attached PDF file to [email protected], along with  the following details:
    •    Full Name
    •    Address
    •    Major
    •    Phone number
    •    School name
    •    Date of birth

Use the following subject line: Mann Lake $1000 Scholarship | (Your Name). Only one submission per person is allowed. You must be able to prove your eligibility based on the above criteria.

How to win:
Send your essay responses using the guidelines outlined above. On the 20th of December 2023, our team will select the best essay and notify the winner via email. The winner must respond within seven days, or another winner will be chosen.
The scholarship awardee will be chosen based solely on the quality of their essay submission. No other requirements, such as GPA scores or academic transcripts, are necessary.
