The International Vocal Competition ’s-Hertogenbosch is an open community and provides a platform for talented young singers at the start of their careers where they can be heard by possible employers — intendants, agents, artistic directors of festivals and orchestras – and the audience. The IVC also functions as a resource centre for young singers, giving advice on problems that they may encounter as well as career counselling.
The Competition provides opportunities for young professional singers and stands by its Triple-D status: Discovery, Development and Delivery. The IVC supplies the voices of the future: it provides the bottom rung of the ladder that can lead them to concert halls, opera houses and song recitals at both national and international level
